Vancouver Titans

Expectations of Vancouver Titans in 2020 have ranged widely throughout the offseason. Considering the departure of some prominent players, it’s reasonable to have questions about this team prior to their first appearance this weekend. That said, I believe the team still has one of the stronger rosters, on paper at least, across the Overwatch League.

While it’s tough enough to replace “Bumper” and “Tizi”, one of the best main tanks last season, the Titans signed a familiar face for OWL fans in “Fissure”. The signing left many Vancouver fans with a skeptical optimism, mainly due to his previous issues within the Los Angeles Gladiators and retirement from the Seoul Dynasty and OWL in 2019.

However, the most significant addition to this roster is the singing of “Ryujehong”. A Flex Support player regarded as one of the best support players in the OWL, known for his accuracy and extensive hero pool. While the jury remains out on the signing of “Fissure”, it’s safe to say the Vancouver Titans secured an important piece in “Ryujehong”.
