PS4 upcoming game releases for February 2020

Dreams, Yakuza 5 and Hunt: Showdown highlight a surprisingly busy February for new game releases for the PS4.

February is usually a slow period for new game releases. Just look at the Xbox One for comparison. But Sony has a surprisingly busy slate of games for the PS4 arriving next month.

The highlight next month is undoubtedly Dreams. Developed by the creative geniuses over at Media Molecule, Dreams is the embodiment of creativity. It’s a game that pretty much lets you create whatever you want in it. And then you can share that game with others to let them play it or remix it for their own creation.

Dreams has been in development for quite a while now with it first being revealed all the way back in 2013 with a technical demo. Since then, it has grown to become one of the PS4’s most intriguing titles. Based on what we’ve seen out of betas, there’s no shortage of creativity out there. As with such a game though, its fun relies on whatever the community puts forth.

Another exciting game coming next month is Persona 5 Scramble, a crossover between Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors and Atlus’s Persona franchises. There’s also Hunt: Showdown, Crytek’s first-person shooter, survival horror game that’s inspired heavily by the Darksiders series. We’ve also got some remasters of beloved classics in the form of Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle and Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.
