#2. Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic

Still one of, if not the best Star Wars games to date. While Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a story about the Force and the Jedi and galactic conflict where the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance, it features one thing most other Star Wars games do not: An actual Mandalorian as one the main cast.

Canderous Ordo joins your party early in the game, and while I would not say he’s one of the better party members, he’s still a very well-written character who will tell you many stories of the glory days of war he and his Mandalorian brothers experienced. It’s the first time we really get an idea of what a Mandalorian actually even is. In the movies, it’s just some guy in cool armor that they based an entire army of clones off of, but we don’t get any real insight into that character.

Despite showing it’s age quite a bit in the visual department, Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic remains an incredibly engaging RPG and story-telling feat nearly 17 years later and you can experience it for yourself still today on Xbox, PC, and most mobile platforms.
