Death Stranding: How to get Legend of Legends S-rank on Premium deliveries
Follow this guide to learn how to complete Premium deliveries with an S-rank Legend of Legends evaluation in Death Stranding.
If you’re playing Death Stranding and you’re a completionist who strives to 100 percent games, then you’re probably already aware of the “Birth of a Legend” and “Growth of a Legend” Trophies/Achievements. The former requires you to complete 10 premium deliveries with an evaluation of “Legend” or “Legend of Legends” in every single category while the latter requires you to complete 20 premium deliveries with a rank of “Legend of Legends” in all categories.
The S-rank Legend evaluation is pretty straight forward. But you might be slamming your head against the wall with the Legend of Legend rank. Well, before you go slamming your controller in frustration, it should be noted that the Legend of Legends rank is only possible to achieve on Hard difficulty.
So if you want to complete the “Growth of a Legend” Trophy/Achievement, you’re going to have to play the game on hard. I suggest doing this after you’ve already completed the game first so that you have access to the best equipment in the game.
Premium deliveries first become available when you connect the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City to the Chiral network. These are special kinds of standard orders with some sort of specific requirement, usually making it somewhat more difficult. Premium deliveries might give you less time to complete the delivery and require more cargo be delivered. However, the reward for Premium deliveries, besides the Achievement/Trophy eventually, is simply more “likes.”
Now you may be a little intimidated playing on Hard difficulty at first, but it should be noted that the difficulty only impacts enemy encounters. Most deliveries can be made without running into enemies, so it’s really not that difficult — just make sure you adhere to the premium delivery requirements.
Additionally, for “Growth of a Legend,” you’ll need 20 premium deliveries in each fo the four main categories. This means you’ll have to complete at least 80 deliveries and get the Legend of Legends rank in them. So it’s going to take a while.
One of the good things about waiting until later in the game to attempt this is that you’ll have unlocked Ziplines. These allow you to travel immediately from one Zipline to the next, avoiding any threat of BTs. I recommend playing online so that you can make use of Ziplines that other players may have put down. Roads and other player-built structures will also be of help.
The good news is that Death Stranding makes it easy to attempt this. You can adjust the game difficulty at any point during your playthrough in the Game Options.
