Stardew Valley 1.4 update: 14 Heart event walkthrough for every spouse

As we wrote before, Sam is a nice guy who plays in a band. In his recent story update, he wants to further his career and break into the music industry.

To raise Sam’s level to 14 hearts, simply give him any of the following items: Cactus Fruit, Maple Bar, Pizza or Tigerseye. Once you reach 14 hearts, leave your house and enter it.

When re-entering, you’ll appear in Sam’s music room. He’ll tell you that he’s feeling kind of restless and that he wants to” find some work… something to do with music.”

Sam will eventually get a job as a Junior Composer at the Zuzu Broadcasting Group, TV division. He then learns that the show is for little kids and becomes sad. The two of you talk it out and you are given a few options to respond with before he ultimately tells you he needs to work on the song for a few days.

Exiting a re-entering your house a few times will fast-forward time and trigger the next cutscene. Sam has put together a song and he’ll play it for you. Once he plays it, he tells you that he’s actually happy he got the job.

Advancing time again will trigger the final cutscene. You, jas and Vincent all watch the show with Sam’s music playing in the background. The kids love it and dance in the background. Sam thanks you for your support and as a reward you get Sam’s Boombox with the song Sam wrote on it.
