Stardew Valley 1.4 update: 14 Heart event walkthrough for every spouse

Stardew Valley update 1.4 is now live across all major platforms, introducing a new 14-heart event for every spouse. Here’s the latest post-marriage update.

After having moved to Stardew Valley to start a new life, you’ve probably since settled down and found yourself in a relationship. If not, well, we’ve got a complete breakdown of all of the eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

Now it’s been a while since we’ve returned to Stardew Valley, but the recent 1.4 update added a ton of new features and content. Among the new content is a new 14-heart event for every spouse in the game.

"I wanted to show a little more about what each spouse is up to after marriage, and give you another thing to look forward to after marriage."

As we’ve already covered, there are a total of 12 marriage candidates in Stardew Valley. There are six bachelors and six bachelorettes to choose from.

In order to marry them, you must first raise your relationship level with them to 10 Hearts. Once you do that, you can propose using the Mermaid Pendant. Upon agreeing to marry, they will move onto your farm and set up their own room. This unlocks the potential to earn four more hearts for a total of 14. Once you reach the new max, you can begin the new 14-heart event for them and get an update on what they’ve been up to lately.
