Boyfriend Dungeon

Not to overreact or anything, but Boyfriend Dungeon might be the best title for a video game I’ve ever heard of in my young life (feel free to comment with your own picks). The game comes from developer Kitfox Games, and tasks you with doing all that slashing and hacking you know of from your typical dungeon crawler.

The catch? You get to, like, totally date your weapons. It’s a pretty weird idea for a game, but I can’t wait to fall in love with someone that will actually over me back, for once. It’s set for a release on the Switch in 2020.

Liberated

Remember Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley or Viewtiful Joe? Well, think those games’ comic-book aesthetic and combine it with Inside, and you might get something along the lines of Liberated, a new action-platformer from developer Atomic Wolf Games. Its noir vibe seems like something truly special, complete with a hand-drawn graphic novel style.

Here’s hoping my dreams for a Cowboy Bebop game in this similar vein comes to fruition one day. But for now, this satiates my appetite enough, and it launches as a timed-exclusive on the Switch in 2020.

Axiom Verge 2

Some would say that it’s overdone at this point, but I can’t deny that I still love the “there’s one more thing” moments during every gaming conference or presentation. This same spiel was used yet again during the waning moments of the indie showcase to reveal Axiom Verge 2, the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed action game from Thomas Happ.

dark. Next. MLB The Show could head to Xbox, Nintendo platforms in 2021

The tease we recieved for the sequel seems to suggest a slightly different graphical style, and we’re here for it. The game will officially come to Switch in 2020.
