UFO on Tape: First Contact

The 100th game added to Apple Arcade, UFO on Tape: First Contact is an intriguing title exclusive to the service.

Armed with just your camcorder, it’s up to you to prove aliens exist. Race across the countryside and look for evidence of visitors from outer worlds.

UFO on Tape: First Contact may be pretty straight forward in concept, but it actually features some impressive gameplay mechanics, including the use of the gyroscope, to make you feel as if you are actually controlling a camera and pointing it to the sky.

UFO on Tape: First Contact is one of the prime examples of the unique experiences you can find on Apple Arcade.

Sociable Soccer

From developer Rogue Games, creator of the Sensible Soccer series, comes Sociable Soccer, which essentially feels like a mobile version of the Ultimate Team you’d find in EA’s FIFA series.

There’s over 25,000 upgradable player cards from 1,000 international teams to build a team and take on other players. Games can be played or you can simply manage and watch.

You can either play against other players online (or offline with two controllers) or partake in a 60-hour campaign mode. There is also a Seasonal League System with rankings.

Social Soccer may not have the realistic presentation or physics of the FIFA series, but it’s a pretty fun sports title for fans.
