World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

It’s been a long time since I’ve played World of Warcraft. The long-running MMORPG may not be the powerhouse it once was, but it’s still got a dedicated player base that’s at least big enough to continue to warrant new expansions. The latest is World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, and it’s coming in 2020.

This is undoubtedly one of the wildest expansions for the game, as players embark on a journey through the realms of the afterlife. Upon entering the Shadowlands, the realms of the dead have been thrown into upheaval. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands introduces five new zones to explore, Covenant’s that you can join to gain new powers and the Tower of the Damned. There are also some quality of life improvements such as the ability to play a Death Knight as a pandaren and all allied races, improved character customization options and more.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be available at some point in 2020, but no specific release date was announced. It’s already available for pre-purchase digitally with various options that provide numerous in-game bonuses and rewards.
