16. Half-Life – Headcrab

Headcrabs are vile creatures who resemble facehuggers from the Alien franchise. The biggest difference these merciless creatures have is that fact headcrabs can take control of their host. It does this by using its beak-like mouth to break into the skull of its host. From there, it taps into their motor functions creating zombie-like things. The host will also begin to change.

Their skin and chest cavity will begin to open up creating a grotesque look. Of course, this all depends on the type of headcrab that attaches to you. The most menacing part about headcrabs is they leave their host alive through the entire process. Imagine being controlled by these things as they use your body as a weapon. We would like to wake up from that dream instantly.

17. Pokemon Series – Parasect

Parasect is the most morbid pokemon in the entirety of the pokemon universe. This poor creature is the result of an insectoid creature being taken over by a parasitic mushroom. At first glance, it isn’t that bad, but when you pull out from there it gets worse. This poor pokemon is being controlled by a parasitic mushroom which is then being controlled by a pokemon trainer. That is twice the amount of puppetry.

You can take this even further and enter super meta with it when you realize you are controlling a pokemon trainer who is controlling a parasitic mushroom who is controlling an insect. That is kind of screwed up in our eyes. Regardless of what you think, we just hope Parasect can escape his chains one day.
