20. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragons
Bethesda brought us Skyrim and with it, dragons. Dragons are in a ton of pop culture media forms, but that doesn’t make them any less scary. If anyone were confronted by a dragon then we would probably wee our pants. What’s even scarier is that Skyrim is full of dragons. They are a constant threat in the world of Skyrim and require great strength to take down.
Dragons have always been depicted as massive creatures who can breathe fire in an instant. The Elder Scrolls V made them the creatures they are today. Plus, the world is full of named dragons hidden throughout the world. This individualism makes dragons so much more powerful because it gives them an identity they can use against the player,
21. Dishonored 2 – Clockwork Soldiers
The Dishonored universe is full of messed up stuff. The Outsider made it on our list last year, but this year we have added a steampunk bodyguard to the list. Clockwork Soldiers are humanoid automatons that are capable of dealing massive amounts of damage. They are the bodyguards of Kirin Jindosh. These slow-moving and sleek soldiers are deadly if they catch you. There is only one efficient way of destroying such insane looking soldiers.
Players need to gain an advantage point above them to jump down and perform an assassination attack. Unfortunately, this attack only blinds them. They are still operational afterward so it needs to be performed again. Be careful not to make too much noise because they will react to it instead. These mechanical monstrosities are tough to fight but fit into the Dishonored universe so well.
