The League Championship Series for both the AL and NL are finally set, and we did another MLB The Show 19 simulation to see who advanced to the World Series.

Ah yes, we finally reached the final four of baseball, after an intense divisional round. Utilizing the power of the MLB The Show 19 Sim Machine (as I like to call it), we may now know who could be playing for the title in the World Series.

After an amazing effort by both the Braves and Rays, their counterparts, the Cardinals and Astros were simply too much to handle. The Dodgers tried their best to hang on and win their way to their third consecutive NLCS but some clutch hitting from the Nationals helped them pull off the upset.

And then, the heartbreak for the Twins continues against the Yankees, as New York finished off the home run record-breaking Minnesota. In the last 19 years, every time the Twins made it to the postseason, they somehow always run into the Yankees, and always lose. You can’t make this up, but the Twins will certainly be back next year.

Going into the LCS’, I’m especially interested in the Nationals and Cardinals, as both teams shocked the world in a sense. After losing Bryce Harper in free agency, there wasn’t a ton of high expectations surrounding them. They were expected to be “fine” but not as good as they’ve been.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals, had high expectations going into the season thanks to some key free agent signings (Paul Goldschmidt and Andrew Miller among others). However, they remained in the middle of the pack in the NL Central most of the season, as those expectations started to fade. In the end, they woke up, picked up the pieces and ended up winning the division, and now here they are.

So, what does MLB The Show 19 have in store for us in this simulating Fall drama? Let’s found out, shall we?
