Cyberpunk 2077 will be here before you know it so here are the best games to play to get ready for the massive sci-fi title.

Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be huge. There is no denying it is the single most anticipated game in years. Ever since CD Projekt Red teased the game several years ago, fans of the teased project have speculated over every possible detail the studio has released. Just this year, the studio behind the hit game The Witcher 3 has revealed more and more about this science-fiction role-playing game.

The 45-minute gameplay footage released last year really revealed what gamers were going to have in store. Then, more recently, a new gameplay trailer dropped revealing more end-game content along with factions that will be a part of the world. CD Projekt Red has announced multiplayer will eventually arrive in Cyberpunk 2077, but it is very low on their priority list. Regardless, players will have plenty to chew on when the game launches on April 16, 2020.

In the meantime, there are plenty of other games to chew on while you hold that craving for Cyberpunk 2077. The following list is made up of games which will hit similar beats as CD Projekt Red’s upcoming epic.

This game is an obvious one. The other massive title from the independent studio is an obvious choice to play to get the feel of what Cyberpunk 2077 will have.

The Witcher 3 is a fantasy game, but it has the massive open-world aspect that its science fiction cousin will most certainly have. There is a reason CD Projekt Red has a reputation and it is because of this game. The story is doubled down because there are several choices the player can make. You can spend the rest of the time leading to Cyberpunk with this one game.

Plus, hunting down a slew of monsters is a great way to kill time.
