Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2, the game which started the looter shooter genre. The game is predecessor to Borderlands 3 and is designed on Unreal Engine 3, allowing for some really good animations and graphics.

This part of Borderlands has six vault hunters: Axton, the Commando; Maya, the Siren; Salvador, the Gunzerker; Zero, the Assassin; Gaige, the Mechromancer; and Kreig, the Psycho. This allows players to complete a campaign consisting of central quests and optional side missions on the planet of Pandora. The major features includes online co-op campaign game play, randomly loot such as weapon, shield and character building elements in addition to cool story line.

If you’re playing Borderlands 3, odds are you already played Borderlands 2. But if you haven’t, it might be worth going back to check this one out.

Anthem

Anthem is an online multiplayer RPG-shooter developed by BioWare. And while has gotten off to a very rough start, BioWare seems committed to making it work.

Set on an unnamed planet, player assumes the role of Freelancer adventurers who don powerful exosuits (javelins) to defend humanity from the threats beyond their cities walls.

Anthem makes use of Frostbite 3, so the environments and landscapes are breathtaking. Despite the bugs and broken loot systems, combat is what keeps Anthem entertaining. And while the game received a lot of mixed reactions, its mechanics and creative thinking from BioWare definitely make it a game worth trying.
