UPlay+ launched with a free trial until September 30. Here are the games you should try while you still can.
Ubisoft entered the subscription service wars September 3 with the launch of UPlay+ on PC. The service costs $12.99 per month, but Ubisoft is enticing new customers with a free trial until September 30. There are over 100 games currently available on the service with more on the way. Not only that, each title on the service contains all of its DLC.
The titles on the service span both genres and gaming history, from Might and Magic IX to Cold Fear to every Tom Clancy title one could want; this includes Endwar for the six of us who enjoyed it.
Of course, there are only so many hours in a day and so many days until September 30. You have to be judicious in picking which games to play during the trial. We’re here to highlight five games you should give a shot during the trial. Are all of these strictly good? Maybe. Will they be all things to all people? Probably not. But they are interesting in one way or another.
Most of the single player games here are on the shorter side, 5.5-6 hours each. There’s also a multiplayer game you can sink a thousand hours into. No points for guessing what it is.
