Laremy Tunsil, Kenny Stills traded to Houston Texans

Jadeveon Clowney wasn’t the only major trade involving the Houston Texans. They also acquired left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills. And while the Texans did give up two first-round picks (2020, 2021), they gave Deshaun Watson some much-needed offensive line help.

Clowney was reportedly linked with a trade to the Dolphins for young left tackle Laremy Tunsil, but apparently Clowney showed no interest playing for a team in rebuild mode. But that didn’t stop the Texans from pursuing the Dolphins 2016 first-round pick.

In the end, here’s what the trade looked like, per ESPN:

"Houston receives: LT Laremy Tunsil, WR Kenny Stills, 2020 fourth-round pick, 2021 sixth-round pick Miami receives: 2020 first-round pick, 2021 first-round pick, 2021 second-round pick, T Julie’n Davenport, CB Johnson Bademosi"

In Madden 20, Tunsil is rated an 84 overall with 92 awareness, 85 pass block, 79 run block and 84 impact block. He easily becomes the anchor on an offensive line that has no players rated above 80 overall.

Stills is an 84 overall wide receiver with 92 speed, 92 acceleration, 85 agility, 88 catching, and 83 catch in traffic, 86 spectacular catch, 83 release and 86 jump. He’ll provide a nice compliment to the 99 overall rated DeAndre Hopkins and 82 overall rated Will Fuller V.

Dolphins players in Madden probably won’t get much use out of CB Johnson Bademosi (69 OVR) and LT Julie’n Davenport (62 OVR), but those two first-round picks will be nice in Connected Franchise mode.
