NBA 2K20 predictions: 10 best (or most fun) rookies to play as
Tacko Fall – Boston Celtics
Another big man, Tacko Fall is one of the tallest human beings in the world today at 7’6″. He played a huge role in UCF’s success during March Madness. Interestingly enough, he wasn’t drafted during the 2019 NBA Draft.
However, it didn’t take teams long to pounce on the prospect. The Boston Celtics signed him, and although he’ll likely be a backup, he’ll still be good fun to use in NBA 2K20. He can score on the inside, and swat folks on the defensive end with ease.
And his size is so immense, that he will be extremely difficult to defend in the paint. If he gets stronger, and his strength rating goes up, then he’d be nearly unstoppable in post-up situations.
I can’t tell you how many times big guys like Manute Bol and Mark Eaton bailed me out in games in MyTEAM. They drop standing layups and dunks with ease, and if they miss, they grab the boards right away and finish the play in key moments of the games.
The same will be true for Fall, who can give you some quick buckets when you need them. Allow him to get too close to the basket and you’re screwed.
Yes, he doesn’t possess the shooting ability like the aforementioned Bol Bol, but he’s bigger than him and has more length. If he develops even just a mid-range shot, he could be a scoring machine, even for being a lower rated player.
If you love dropping hook shots with Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, then I think you’ll love doing so with a guy like Fall. Not saying Fall will be as fun as one of the top five most exciting players to use in the game in Abdul-Jabaar, but that his length can let you enjoy some Kareem like moments with the Celtics rookie.
Players of that height are rare in the NBA, and that includes in NBA 2K. So when you have the chance to use a player like that, it’s a treat.
Yao Ming is in the game and is an incredible mid-range shooter. If Fall can get that shot going, the Celtics fans will be licking their chops when he comes off the bench.
