NBA 2K20 predictions: 10 best (or most fun) rookies to play as
Ja Morant – Memphis Grizzlies
The former Murray State star may arguably be the most fun player to use in NBA 2K20. His speed is blazing, his passing is artistic, and his dunks are so violent they deserve an “M” rating.
The NBA has predicated itself on strong offensive abilities in the past several years, and Morant is capable of being an offensive machine. On top of this, he’ll likely have the ability to bust some ankles in the next game.
Shooting three-pointers also won’t be a problem for the point guard. I don’t think his three-point attribute is going to be 90, but I can see it being a solid 82 or something around that.
Defense may be a liability, but scoring, crossing guys up and performing flashy passes will be the epitome of Morant’s fun factor. I can definitely see him having a ball-handling/slashing Takeover, which could be a blast.
The playmaking Takeover is a monster if you’re good at dribbling in the game. Combine that with an ability to posterize opponents at will and you have yourself a beast if you’re a fan of the Grizzlies.
As with Williamson, Morant, too, will likely have some acrobatic abilities when it comes to layups. It wouldn’t shock me if the “Acrobatic” badge would be a part of his game.
One thing is for certain; be sure to expect the Posterizer and Dimer badges attached to him. I’ll be surprised if neither of these are included.
Those are the badges that best categorize Morant’s game. This will make him a ton of fun to play with in NBA 2K20.
