Nintendo Switch: 10 ports to look forward to for the rest of 2019
#4. DC Universe Online
These days, it’s not that difficult to play MMOs just about anywhere you go. Lots of places have WiFi so you need a laptop that can run the game and you’ll be good to go. Laptops can be a little clunky to handle depending on your situation, however. And what if you don’t have that laptop though? Or prefer to play on a console in the first place? Well, your options are far more limited.
Thankfully, if you are a fan of DC Universe Online, they are about to get much less limited. The popular MMO where you create your own superhero to fight along DC Comics’ greatest superheroes to take down their greatest foes is coming to the Nintendo Switch and will be the first MMO RPG to arrive on the system.
How will this be the best way to play DC Universe Online? Simply put, with a laptop, you still need a specific setup, usually. A table of some sort is ideal but at least a chair with enough space to put your laptop on your knees. In the least ideal situation, you may very well be sitting on the floor and using your laptop.
The Nintendo Switch is considerably smaller than any laptop, so you can usually take it out and start playing even if leaning against a wall is your best option. As long as you have access to WiFi, you are set to play DC Universe online no matter what your space situation with the Nintendo Switch, thereby making it the best option to play. Pretty much an ideal experience for DC Comics fans when it comes to the system later this year.
