What we might see:  A new Fallout Collection/Remaster

There is no question that the Fallout franchise is in a bad place right now. They really need something to get people excited about the series again. Frankly, an easy way to do that would be reminding people about the previous games they loved. What better way than a collection or remaster of some sort?

Ideally, a new Fallout collection (there’s already a couple on PC) would be the entire series to date. It could even include Fallout 76 as a possible way to get more people to play it. Rights issues may make that difficult if not impossible, though.

A package remaster of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas would certainly be welcome. Even if it was simply a Nintendo Switch version though, you think it would get the same treatment as Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition.

Honestly, if you want to make a goodwill gesture to people who have stuck by Fallout 76 (which surprisingly does have a community of dedicated players even if it’s not a huge one) and/or entice new players, a good move would be to offer such a remaster or collection to all owners of Fallout 76 as a freebie. PC gamers did get The Fallout Collection for free, but console players didn’t get anything like that. Maybe for a limited time, but anybody who is willing to or has put up with the troubles of that game probably deserves something thrown their way from Bethesda.
