Right Fielder

Grade: A-

Right field joins the “A- Club” along with centerfield. If you love power and playing one of the best defensive positions in MLB The Show 19, then this is a great choice.

One of the favored positions for Pure Power and Anomaly is right field. One of the most exciting things about playing right field is being in the outfield.

You will have many opportunities to throw runners out at third and home plate which is fun if you have a cannon for an arm. Not to mention that you have sometimes get home run-robbing opportunities when dealing with a left-handed power hitter or an opposite field player.

The Pure Power archetype works well with right fielders because the arm strength attribute is one of the key stats to go along with power. And as mentioned, playing right field is one of the coolest ways to test out that wondrous arm of yours (thank me later for the compliment).

Whether you enjoy having pop in your bat or utilizing that arm strength, playing right field is good for both.
