Second Base: Jose Ramirez

Team – Cleveland Indians

To say Jose Ramirez had a “good” season would be an immensely high understatement. The 26-year-old had one of the more unusual, yet impressive stat lines you’ll see from a second baseman.

This is led with his whopping 39 home runs, which was good for fourth in all of baseball along with some dude named Mike Trout and was more than Giancarlo Stanton. On top of his brute power, Ramirez also has blazing speed, collecting 34, good for fifth along with Billy Hamilton, known as the “fastest man in baseball.”

This incredible threat of power and speed will make Ramirez an easy choice to be the best second baseman in MLB The Show 19. However, don’t be surprised if one of our honorable mentions take the crown.

Honorable Mentions:

Jose Altuve – Altuve has continued to be one of the baseball’s most consistent all-around players in all aspects of the game. It wouldn’t be shocking if he is MLB The Show 19‘s top second bagger.

Whit Merrifield – Don’t let the awesome name fool you (although Scooter Gennett takes the cake. Sorry, Whit), Merrifield is a classic second baseman who kills you with speed and contact. Leading all of baseball with 45 stolen bases, the dangerous Royals star would be a fun choice as MLB The Show 19’s best at the position.
