The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

There’s no mistaking the fact that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an astonishing game. Not only is it an impressive title all around, but its art direction and graphical prowess is one that is highly underappreciated in many ways. While many of the games you’ll see later on are shooting for realistic graphics and gameplay elements, Breath of the Wild does the opposite.

It’s a game that shoots for the stars and instead finds distant planets with its artistic direction. Whether it’s grass responding to soft gusts of wind or the water responding to a raft navigated by Link, Hyrule has never been as beautiful as it is now. Of course, we do have to appreciate the inhabitants of the land, each coming with their own unique identities and appearances. Whether you decide to spend time finding armor, weapons, and companions, you may want to take a little time to explore the lands, taking in some of the game’s breathtakingly well-done locales that you can visit.

If you haven’t already, then it may be time to slow down your exploration of the game, taking time to see each perfectly designed element in the game. After all, who really sits down and spends the time to admire the soft flow of grass as it responds to small gusts of wind or the way water reacts when links feet brush across the surface of the water at some random pond? I know I haven’t until now.
