Forza Motorsport 7

When it comes to delivering one of the most graphically appealing games, Turn 10 is one of the top-dogs in the industry. Not only do they make their games look as realistic as possible, they’re a studio that doesn’t cut any corners doing so. With the Forzatech engine, Forza Motorsport 7 is, by far, one of the best looking racing games on the market.

Not only do drivers look real, the game itself doesn’t hold back with its dynamic lighting and weather systems. Whether the sun is rising or setting, the developer made sure to add the small bits of detail to the game, which includes car reflections in water puddles that accumulate during a storm. What’s even more impressive about their attention to detail is the fact that every single car looks authentic inside and out.

While Forza Motorsport 7 is a huge step up from its predecessors, players have a lot to look forward to as they customize and build their cars. Small tweaks such as altered paint jobs and added parts are easy to take note of during every single race. Toss in the ability to jump between cockpit view and helmet view and you have a lot to appreciate. With small effects such as rainwater running up the windshield, dust splattering across your windshield or snow falling, and you have one of the most immersive experiences within the Forza franchise.

All that’s really needed to bring the experience home is a leather scented candle or wax and you’ll feel right at home as the races get started and rubber begins to burn.
