Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

When it comes to some of the best looking games around, Konami was the place to look thanks to their attention to detail, cutting-edge graphics technology, and gameplay engines. Along with their ability to provide the experiences they have, the former studio behind the Metal Gear franchise and Metal Gear Solid franchise has stood out for their use of realistic looking characters since the PlayStation 2 era.

Fast forward to the 2016 release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and you have a testament to Hideo Kojima and his team’s creative capabilities. Their ability to create living and breathing environments remains mind-blowing even as Kojima and parts of his team have moved on to work on projects that will continue on with Kojima’s vision and push for some of the most ground-breaking titles to be released.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was certainly Kojima’s last attempt to provide a cutting edge experience with his well-established universe. Even with the implementation of Metal Gear Online, the level of creativity and attention to detail remained throughout every map, every character, and even the well-polished designs that Kojima and his teams created.

The only downside here? We may not see the level of detail from future Metal Gear Games, but on the bright side, if you are eagerly awaiting the Kojima Productions title Death StrandingMetal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is definitely a game to check out if you want to see just how creative the teams he works with can be.
