#14. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology (3DS)

The 3DS has long been a bastion of RPG riches for pretty much its entire existence. You could spend hundreds of hours with its vast selection of quality RPG titles. With the Nintendo Switch quickly on the rise and certainly seeming poised to at least eventually replace the 3DS, it’s understandable that the fairly steady stream of RPGs has turned more into a slow drip. But that doesn’t mean the 3DS won’t get some worthwhile RPG titles in 2018.

One fans should definitely look forward to is Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. This is a remake of a highly-acclaimed game that came out in 2010 on the Nintendo DS and granted it’s not difficult to find for a reasonable price, but Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is much more than a simple re-release. You get new music from the original composer, voice acting new story content and new difficulty modes as well (which is appreciated because that game was really hard).

Radiant Historia is all about fixing time. You have access to the “White Chronicle” which allows you to explore three separate timelines and try to make it so that the “proper” timeline is the true one you follow, but you have to explore all of them to get the answer. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology will let players mess with timelines more than The Flash ever has when it comes out on 3DS in just about a month on February 13th.
