3. Assassin’s Creed | Ubisoft

Ubisoft has been hard at work rebuilding the Assassin’s Creed brand and has seemingly done a magnificent job with Assassin Creed: Origins, which has been one of the highest rated games in the franchise. Luckily for Ubisoft, their expertise in multiplayer games is admirable enough that their Assassin’s Creed franchise could easily be considered for a Battle Royale title.

With large-scale maps already being a part of their DNA, Ubisoft has a large opportunity here. The downside to it? They have their work cut out for them. They would have to figure out what era, where at in the world, and how to make this happen. Thankfully, the series has a lot to work with and they could easily put players in the role of Templars and Assassins in training through clothing customizations. They could even scatter weapons themed around the two factions throughout the map while putting modern medical and support items around the maps.

The only minor change they would have to make? Weight distributions for every item available and backpacks or packs of some-sort allowing players to carry just a bit more gear than they started with. The hardest part about making this happen would be the implementation of the open world movement that the series is well known for as players climb, jump, and move between or across building rooftops.
