10 game franchises that would make great Battle Royale games

4. Halo | 343 industries

Renowned for both its stories and multiplayer, Halo remains one of the most beloved of Microsoft’s IP’s. Halo 5: Guardians has even expanded on what the franchise was capable of doing with its competitive modes through its largescale PvP/PvE Warzone mode. Because of this mode, 343 industries has opened up an entirely new window of opportunity for the Halo franchise. That opportunity just happens to be the implementation of a Battle Royale mode.

With a third-person perspective already being available within the games, it would be almost impossible for 343 industries and Microsoft not to consider the possibility of a 30 or 40 man Battle Royale mode. Thanks to the games already having random items scattered throughout their large-scale maps, there’s almost no reason that Halo couldn’t join in on the craze and not succeed in doing so. But the bigger question is quite clear: do fans want a Battle Royale mode in Halo or has that ship already set sail with Halo 5: Guardians?
