10 game franchises that would make great Battle Royale games
1. Warhammer 40,000 | Games Workshop
When it comes to franchises well known for dark, gritty wars, large-scale maps, and unique weaponry, Warhammer 40,000 sticks out among them all. The only downside is that the franchise itself has suffered a bit in games. Only a few games have done the job and done it well. Luckily, there’s a lot of room for improvement and the groundwork has already been put in place thanks to the game Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade. All they have to do to make this happen is what all the other games on this list need: players going in without gear, weapons, or loadouts of any kind.

For the sake of this game, players would be warmed into a free-fall via a warp rift or even just dropped from a ship of some sort. Just like a traditional Battle Royale game, players would have to farm for items, weapons, and upgrades in order to outperform their opponents. The only difference here is the fact they’re fighting for the honor of the Emperor of Mankind and their place within his ranks. If Games Workshop does this or licenses it? Just expect a lot of blood, a lot of gore and a bloody good time showing your opponents why you deserve a spot within the Space Marines faction.
