2017 video games that went under the radar
Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr | NeoCore Games| PC, PS4, and Xbox One
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Diablo and Warhammer 40,000 had gotten together and had a baby? That’s where Neocore Games comes into play. Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr takes everything we know and love about point and click titles, mushes them together, and just happens to create one of the most beautiful, gruesome and viscera-filled games out there. For fans of the table top series, Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr is a dream come true as it does a solid job at bringing the best of the tabletop series and video games together.
Fortunately for us, this also means that gameplay mechanics on PC are fairly simple to learn, but due to the niche crowd the game is focusing on, Warhamer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr may not be for everyone. It’s rather well invested in its source material. Maps, weapons, character classes, and even abilities are exactly as one would expect. Since this game is an always online title, it does have a rock solid community that is always welcoming new players.
Unfortunately, the game is in Early Access at this time and still has a lot of work left. The fortunate side to this is quite clear: you get to help squash any and all bugs that may come with the game before its release. Just remember though: It’s a work in progress which means quite a bit can be added at a later date.
