What to do after the final boss of Super Mario Odyssey

Dark, dark, yet darker

The Darker Side kingdom is anything but dark, even if its name suggests otherwise. To get there, you need a whopping 500 Power Moons, but trust me, the reward is worth it. Darker Side isn’t a boss rush like Dark Side. It’s a single, linear platforming challenge that takes you through a whirlwind tour of Super Mario Odyssey’s greatest gameplay hits. There’s a small section for each major kingdom, and trust me when I say these challenges aren’t for the faint of heart.

Even though your reward is only the kingdom’s singular Multi-Moon, the real reward is the experience. Yes, I mean it, but I won’t spoil it for you. If it sounds cheesy, well, it’s a Mario game, but there are a few truly rich moments during this level (and particularly at the end) that will warm your heart and make you smile…that is, if you haven’t been beaming for most of the game already.
