9 games we are excited to see at E3 2017
#1. Spider-Man
You know, I figured Batman: Arkham Asylum would potentially usher in a new era of superhero games. Ones that weren’t tied to any particular movie or show, and therefore wouldn’t be rushed and terrible. I was horribly wrong. There haven’t even been that many other superhero action games since that aren’t starring Batman, and anything not starring him has been pretty awful.
But this year seems like the year that might all change, and arguably leading the charge is Insomniac’s take on Spider-Man, Marvel’s most popular hero. Supposedly out this year, but definitely at E3, this game starring everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood wall-crawler was one of the best trailers at last year’s E3, but there’s been radio silence since then. Rumor is that the game will be out this year and obviously if that’s the case, it needs to make a big splash at E3 and hopefully Insomniac can do for Spider-Man what Rocksteady did for Batman.
And that’s the list of our most anticipated games we know for sure or are fairly positive will be at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Every E3 has lots of surprises, and there’s sure to be a ton of stuff we either only vaguely heard about or had no idea about and that’s part of the fun. What games are you most looking forward to seeing at this year’s E3? Let us know in the comments!
