#7. Kid Icarus

Kid Icarus, despite being a very fondly remembered icon of gaming, had been dormant for a super long time. There are only 3 games bearing his name, and there’s an over twenty-year gap between the last two. But when Kid Icarus: Uprising came out for the 3DS in 2012 it was supposed to be a big triumphant return for Pit. And because of the 3DS’ limited control scheme and the game’s ambitious design, it never quite lived up to its potential. But it was still a game people praised for the graphics, the story and the music. So hey, what if they made a new entry for the Nintendo Switch?

Presumably, you could make a new Kid Icarus title for the Switch that retains the qualities people loved about the previous game: great graphics, music and a story to match, while fixing that troublesome control scheme. Heck, you could probably make it basically like Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, just with way more emphasis on bows and arrows and a landscape littered with enemies from the Kid Icarus games and I think that would work incredibly well. Or just make it a big over the top action game developed by Platinum. Pit is still a popular character thanks to his strong appearances in the Smash Bros. series, and it’d be a shame if he never got another chance at a solo outing.
