26 – Dance-off

Dance-off is basically the same game as Air Guitar, but with dancing. There’s one song, and you dance to it, ideally to the beat, and then you’re told how accurately you danced and how stylistically you performed. How does the game calculate these? Who knows! There’s no response during the game itself to tell you what you’re doing wrong.

The only reason I ranked Dance-off higher than Air Guitar is because dancing around like an idiot is marginally more fun than Air Guitar but, again, probably only once in this context. You’re better off switching (ha) to almost any other part of the 1-2-Switch library for your competitive dancing fun, including one other, better, dancing game later in the list.
