As was probably evident in the trailer, you’ll be doing a lot of climbing, swimming, and other athleticisms in Breath of the Wild. It’s a good idea early on in a relatively safe zone to learn your stamina limits. The last thing you want is to attempt to climb or swim out of danger later, only to find you don’t have the stamina and go falling to your death.
You’ll have ways to get more stamina fairly early on, but you may opt for more heart containers instead and leave the stamina increases for later. Get a handle on how far you can push Link, and also carefully examine cliffs before climbing to predict areas where you can stand and rest or gentler slopes that will use less stamina. You can climb anything if you set your mind to it!
