5 – Elliott

The only thing that kept me from marrying Elliott during my first playthrough was the fact that, not knowing about in-game Elliott, I named my player character Elliott. As tempting as the prospect of having two children also named Elliott was, I did not pursue the mysterious writer. But after checking into his heart scenes and marriage dialogue, I regret everything. Elliott is near-perfection. That devilish smile, that flowing hair, that seductive romantic courtesy…the guy even writes a novel inspired by and dedicated to you!

But for all his perfection, he’s…well, too perfect. His storyline contains a lot of fluff and little substance. He’s still one of the most enjoyable characters post-marriage, always writing verses about you and talking about how much he loves the farm. If you’re looking for an easygoing marriage high on lofty language and laughter, Elliott’s the perfect man.
