1 – Abigail

Abigail’s affection takes time to earn, but it’s all worth it for how absolutely amazing this woman is. For one, she loves video games and will ask to play them with you. She has a portrait of Crono from Chrono Trigger in her bedroom. She’s probably the daughter of the town’s wizard, a fact that is strongly hinted at if never outright stated. She’s a talented musician, loves the rain, and pursues adventure in the mines to the north. Finally, a running joke in the fandom is that she’s secretly a dragon, due to her Wizard lineage and love of devouring amethysts and other precious gems–when she receives one, she responds with, “Hey, how’d you know I was hungry? This looks delicious!”

After the wedding, Abigail retains her adventurous spirit. She has a passion for the mystical, and always wants to hear about your adventures down in the mine. Normally I’d knock her for being superstitious, but considering you’re visited by the ghost of your grandfather and a witch has been spotted leaving mysterious Void Eggs on the farm, I don’t blame her. Abi is the most in-tune with the true nature of things in Stardew Valley and by far the most fun and surprising characters to befriend and marry.
