10 Things We Want To See In Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Companions
It wouldn’t be Zelder Scrolls if we didn’t have a Lydia to drag around, right? Now, I’m not suggesting we be saddled with a permanent party addition for the entire game. I don’t trust AI stealth to keep it together long enough for me to sneak up on packs of Bokoblins. But optional companions, even just for certain dungeons or out in the open world could be a lot of fun.
There’s already a precedent for this in the game’s amiibo functionality with the Wolf Link amiibo. You get a wolf with three hearts to help you fight and hunt. I wouldn’t mind if there were a few other possible companions available to take along with me, perhaps with unique abilities that allowed me to reach places I wouldn’t be able to on my own. A friendly face by my side would make climbing those snowy mountaintops in the distance just a little less lonely. And hey, wouldn’t it be cool if we could bring a certain magical princess along with us?
