More weather

Hyrule weather so far: the rain is wonderful; the snowy slopes are pristine; thunderstorms are simultaneously flashy and scary; the wind already has been demonstrated to interact with the environment in fun ways. Is it greedy to want more? Since we’re dreaming, here goes: I want fog rolling in over the hills, or obscuring vision in dense patches by the sea. Give me blizzards that reduce Link’s temperature even further, with blowing winds and low visibility. Let’s see some tornadoes tearing things up, or dust storms causing damage and hiding areas beneath the sand.

Okay, maybe those last two are a little crazy, but I have a hunch we haven’t seen the entirety of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s weather effects just yet. I thoroughly expect to be completely thrown off at least once by some crazy mess descending from the sky, whether it’s rain, snow, fire, or a storm of Cuccos. I am also looking forward to the inevitable Iron Boots temple where the wind knocks you off ledges.
