10 Things We Want To See In Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Fun costumes
Link can change clothes, now! I’m looking forward to playing dress-up with Link, obtaining new outfits to combat the cold, heat, and danger that comes from traversing Hyrule. And yet, a focus on pure practicality passes up one of the best parts about being able to change outfits–fashion. I want to be able to dress Link up in ridiculous clothes, just because. Better yet, make the most absurd costumes difficult to find, locked in hidden caves behind complex puzzles. Make me work for my fashionista cred. Then throw an effect on the clothes that makes passersby turn their heads as I strut down the street in my feather boa and slinky evening dress. Perhaps there could even be recolors for Link’s boxer shorts, so those running through the game in the buff can enjoy the benefits of new equipment, complete with bright red hearts or lacy drawers.
Okay, maybe I’m getting a bit too ridiculous. But I’ll be upset if there isn’t at least one really weird outfit in-game that has no practical benefits.
