Bypassing Marowak’s Ghost

This one’s much easier than the previous one, and is still a skip glitch if for some reason you just don’t want to play all of the Pokemon game you bought. Marowak’s ghost at the top of Lavender Tower can’t be fought and passed until you have the Silph Scope, which is acquired from the Rocket Hideout in the Game Corner in Celadon City. First-time players usually encounter the ghost sometime before they arrive in Celadon, forcing them to proceed to Celadon, then backtrack when they can’t get past the Snorlax blocking their progress.

But if you want to skip all that, just enter the fight and use a Pokedoll. The game treats it like a regular Pokemon fleeing combat; the ghost will depart, and you can proceed without ever having to set foot in the Celadon Game Corner! You might end up under-leveled by doing this, though, so make sure you’re prepared if you really hate the Rocket Hideout that much.
