16. Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon

One great thing that we see again and again on mobile is follow-ups to excellent games even after quite a bit of time has passed. In this case, it’s the sequel to Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor, which came out during the relatively prehistoric mobile gaming era of 2009.

Rise of the Shrouded Moon proves the magic hasn’t faded away during the six-year hiatus. The experience is part adventure and part puzzle-solving, with reviewers using adjectives like “immersive” and “consuming.”

Did I mention that you are the spider? This might help those of you (like my own wife) who are scared of arachnids. I have a feeling Peter Parker might also be good at this game considering his web-spinning skills. Hopefully we don’t have to wait until 2021 for the next one.
