30 Best iPhone Games Of 2015

4. Legend of Grimrock
Great ports appear in numerous places among these rankings, and Legend of Grimrock is definitely a great port. It loses nothing in its translation from PC to iPhone, with TouchArcade actually wondering in its review if the mobile version isn’t superior.
That wouldn’t count for much if it wasn’t an outstanding game to begin with, but any fan of classic fantasy RPGs will want to give this one a try. It’s got fun combat, challenging puzzles and plenty of ways to outfit and customize the members of your party. Legend of Grimrock is old school in the best possible sense, even offering the option to turn off the mapping feature. Good thing I always keep a supply of graph paper on hand …
Anything that takes me back to the days I spent in my youth playing D&D is a pleasure. I never even dreamed we’d have handheld devices that allowed you to play RPGs back then, but if I had, I would have wanted a game like this to play on it. The original also has a sequel, so if Almost Human wants to bring that one to iPhone too, I certainly wouldn’t object.
