30 Best iPhone Games Of 2015

5. Transistor
A transistor is one of the things that used to power old time radios. This isn’t that, nor the 311 album — though that was a good one.
Instead, the Transistor we’re talking about is an action RPG with a sci-fi vibe all its own. And while many mobile games claim to have console quality graphics and gameplay, this one really did, as it was released for PS4 and PC in 2014.
Critics liked just about everything about this game, including the combat system, the visuals and Red, one of the cooler giant sword-wielding female characters in any video game in recent memory. Developer Supergiant Games gave a lot of thought to how it would play on a phone, offering tap and virtual stick schemes as well as controller support. It’s fair to say you can find a way to play Transistor that feels comfortable for you.
When game length is the primary negative aspect being brought up in reviews, that’s a good thing. It means that people were enjoying what they experienced and simply wanted to have more of it, which was the case with this game, for sure.
