The WWE 2K25 New Wave Pack is playing to rave reviews. It adds Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and the Motor City Machine Guns to the mayhem. A celebrity guest was initially announced, but got pulled at the last minute. WWE says an announcement about this mysterious celeb is coming soon. While the new superstars are the lead, so of the OGs got some love too. Here are 10 details that App Trigger loves about this pack:
10. Cody Rhodes has a new entrance
From undesirable to "un' GD deniable," Cody Rhodes' ascension has been one of the best stories in wrestling. When the crowd sings along to this theme music, you know his story is complete. WWE 2K25 has added this to his entrance, and it gives me the goosebumps every single time.
9. Undertaker's Urn is now a playable weapon
Whether he's an undead wrestling wizard, a badass Texas biker, or starring in a cinematic match against AJ Styles, the Undertaker is one of the biggest names in the business. Sometimes, you gotta bash fools in the head with a ceremonial urn to let them know just how much you want the win.
8. Alexa Bliss with Lily
What's the Status has been one of the best creators on the WWE scene for a while, and gets credited for the "Fiend 4 Eva" version of Alexa Bliss, complete with her bestie Lily. They just want to play, really!
7. Fraxiom Tag Team entrance
Axiom and Nathan Frazier have captivated the NXT audience and captured the tag team titles as "Fraxiom." Now WWE 2K25 has recognized that connection with a tag team entrance including the championships.
6. "Dirty" Dom Mysterio and Liv Morgan entrance
Much of the WWE Universe loves to hate the pairing of Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio, but this is a soap opera after all. As long as they're getting a strong reaction, they're never leaving our TV screens or our video games. Corey Graves' commentary on the duo is hilarious, as is everything else he does in this game
5. HHH's Sledgehammer
What's HHH doing under the ring? While the commentators are pretending they don't know, longtime fans know The Game is about to pull out his sledgehammer and end somebody's evening. It's right up there with Taker's Urn for iconic WWE weapons.
4. Undertaker 03 entrance
"Dead Man Walking." After years as an undead wizard, Undertaker took on a character that was closer to his real-life persona. Embrace the American Badass-ness of it all with his Underbiker entrance, and keep Kurt Angle away from his motorcycle at all costs.

Hail Sabin! One of the best tag teams in the world has finally entered the WWE with their unique brand of offense. Chris Sabin sends opponents to the floor with his version of the basement dropkick, and now we can do the same in WWE 2K25.

These modes are addictive for a reason. Unlocking more cards unlocks more cards, and yes, the dopamine hit of opening packs is what it is. Every DLC adds the new characters right into MyFaction and if you're a collector, four to six brand new cards and a three or four more packs is always welcome.
