The Elder Scrolls Online

The wait for The Elder Scrolls 6 has been agonizing, and we’re still a long way off from seeing its gameplay let alone release date. Luckily, there’s a way to explore the immense world of Tamriel without having to boot up Skyrim for the twentieth time — The Elder Scrolls Online. This MMORPG offers a wealth of content, and is still being actively supported with new content updates and expansions.

What makes ESO standout as an MMO worth your time is its accessibility for solo players. There are plenty of dungeons for you to tackle with a dedicated group, but if you’re after a single-player experience in a massive multiplayer world, then fewer MMOs tick the box quite like ESO. What’s more, is that players get to experience regions of Tamriel that we’ve yet to explore in the main games. All fully fleshed out and given the modern graphical treatment.

No game subscription is required to take advantage of what ESO has to offer, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers are eligible for discounts on the game’s newest DLC, Necrom.
