Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay should be a very interesting and fun team to watch this year. The dynamic duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are making their way to Tampa Bay. Given the high caliber of offense with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski led by Tom Brady, the Buccaneers should have no problem scoring and getting wins.

However, EA went with a conservative approach to the team rating and I can understand why. Brady and Gronk are going to be playing in a new stadium, with new teammates, and a new coach. EA had no choice but to make the ratings mid-tier because no one knows how good the Buccaneers will really be.

However, they still have an Offensive Rating of 87, a Defensive Rating of 83, and an Overall Team Rating of 85. These ratings are probably going to be the most flexible of any teams in Madden 21 given that the Buccaneer’s season can literally go in any direction. If you see the Buccaneers win consistently and push for first place then you can all but guarantee an in-game update to increase the team’s ratings.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not made the playoffs since 2007 so adding all this offensive firepower is going to be interesting to see if it propels them to snap their playoff appearance drought. Given the amount of following that Brady and Gronkowski have, expect to see many players choosing the Buccaneers when you play someone online. The Buccaneers are a very good choice if you are new to Madden 21 and want to try and get a feel for the game by starting off with a win.
