PS Plus: Free PS5 and PS4 games for February 2023 confirmed
Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus lineup of games for February 2023, and once again it looks like the leaks were true. Coming to all three tiers of PS Plus this month (Premium, Extra and Essential) are Evil Dead: The Game, Olli Olli World, Destiny 2: Beyond Light and Mafia: Definitive Edition. All four games will be available starting February 7 and will remain in the PS Plus library until March 6.
OlliOlliWorld arrives on PS Plus nearly a year after its release. From developer Roll7, the acclaimed skateboarding action-platformer takes players on a trip across a skateboarding utopia filled with quirky characters. It’s available on PS4 and PS5.
Evil Dead: The Game, which was released last year, is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game based on the Evil Dead franchise. Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds. Or take control of the Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends. This over-the-top co-op and PvP multiplayer action game is available for both PS4 and PS5.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is an older expansion to Bungie’s acclaimed sci-fi fantasy shooter. In this expansion, Guardians will head to Europa to battle the Fallen kell of Darkness, Eramis. With Destiny 2’s next expansion, Lightfall, arriving this month, this is a good way for both new and returning players to check out what Destiny 2 is all about.
The fourth and final PS Plus game for February is Mafia: Definitive Edition. This is a full remake of the 2002 original in which you play as Tommy Angelo, who after a run-in with the mob is thrust into a deadly underworld. Set in the city of Lost Heaven, a recreated 1930’s cityscape, shortly after The Great Depression, the Salleri and Morello crime families vie for control over the city.
