Madden 23 ratings reveal coming next week on ESPN
EA and ESPN are once again teaming up to reveal the player ratings for the latest Madden video game. ESPN’s Madden Ratings Week will kick off on Monday, July 18, and will feature special coverage of Madden 23.
The coverage will span various ESPN network shows including SportsCenter, Get Up, First Take, and NFL Live. Coverage will include the highest rated players at each main position, rookie ratings, and the latest members of the Madden NFL 99 Club, players rated a 99 overall, the highest possible rating in the game. Additional player ratings will be shared across official ESPN and Madden NFL social channels.
ESPN’s Madden Ratings Week will focus largely on the premiere positions in the NFL: Wide Receivers, Edge Rushers, Running Backs, Cornerbacks, and Quarterbacks. Different shows will feature different topics dedicated to each position.
Get Up, for example, will reveal one of the top-four highest rated players in the game daily. First Take will feature a Player vs Player reveal and debate. SportsCenter will unveil the top 10 players of a specific position group, followed by the NFL Live crew discussing and breaking down the top ten ratings of each position.
Here’s the Madden Ratings Week schedule for what position group will be revealed on each day:
- Monday, July 18: Wide Receivers
- Tuesday, July 19: Edge Rushers
- Wednesday, July 20: Running Backs
- Thursday, July 21: Cornerbacks
- Friday, July 22: Quarterbacks
On Saturday, July 23, there will be a half-hour special at 9:00 p.m. ET hosted by Laura Rutledge, Mina Kimes and Louis Riddick, as they break down this year’s Madden ratings. Madden NFL 23 is set to launch on August 19, 2022. It will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
