Madden 23 reveal coming soon? Big event coming June 16th

It’s no secret that we’re getting a new Madden game this year. But EA has yet to officially announce Madden 23. With no EA Play Live scheduled this year, when can we expect the game to be revealed?

EA has previously said they will share updates on their upcoming games “When the time is right for each of them.” For Madden, that’s usually around this time. But so far, we’ve had nothing.

That could change soon. EA’s Madden social channel tweeted out today the registration link for a “limited Madden NFL opportunity.” EA doesn’t say exactly what it’s for, but it’s probably a beta.

Registration is open from May 27 through June 1 and is only available to those who are 18 years or older and live in the United States or Canada. Once you log in to your account, you’ll be asked to register a platform (Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5). Once you do that, you’re signed up.

EA says “additional details about this opportunity will be sent to the email address associated with your EA Account on June 16.”

So it would seem that June 16th is the date we should be looking forward to when it comes to Madden 23 information. It’s possible Madden 23 could be revealed prior to that day and that is simply when invites to the presumed beta will be sent out but this is purely speculation.

Today’s announcement has coincided with numerous leaks regarding player ratings popping up online. These ratings seemed to have stemmed from a leaked EA Excel document although it hasn’t been verified. If you’re interested though, the information is out there.

Assuming these leaks are legitimate, it would certainly suggest we are close to some sort of reveal or beta opportunity. In other words, Madden 23 is likely primed for its reveal and it could be happening soon.
